    Dear Colleagues,

    We will be meeting with Professor Jung-Kim again on Monday, November 26 (after Thanksgiving break) to move onto Modern Korea. As we step away from Japan's Meiji Restoration in late 1800s, we will examine the implications of these historical turning points for the Korean peninsula and beyond.
