Resource in San Diego: San Diego Chinese Historical Museum

Hi Arana,
The http://www.sdchm.org/education/school-programs has a wealth of information. In addition to the information regarding the tours and programs, I found the resources and links under the education section to be extremely helpful with sources I can incorporation into my lesson plans. The China History Timeline will provide an overview for my lessons and could be useful for other member of the team.

Of course, I was especially interested in the Calligraphy and Brush Painting programs offered by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum. I will be anxious to hear what you find out this week end. Thank you for sharing your research.

I recently discovered a resource in San Diego that I plan to integrate into my ECHS Lesson Plan. School programs look very interesting and there is a Chinese garden among other activities. http://www.sdchm.org/education/school-programs/. Attached please find the .pdf on their school programs. Here is the home page for the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum http://www.sdchm.org/. There are Saturday Walking Tours in San Diego sponsored by the Asian Pacific Collaborative

In particular, there are programs on calligraphy, innovations in technology in ancient china, etc. Will do some due diligence over the weekend and hope to report back soon,
