Sometimes I think small museums don't get enough credit for the resources available. So, I found the website to my local historical museum the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum and it had a page with helpful resources. (see http://www.sdchm.org/education/resourceslinks/)
So, I clicked on Professor David K. Jordan's website and discovered many translated documents on culture, history, language. Many of them have links to PDF versions. See http://www.sdchm.org/education/resourceslinks/

I don't know when I will be able to look at all of them, but it is nice to know they are available.
