SpectatorHi All,
I hope that the suffering endured (shots, sips, and more) wasn't too hard! And I wish I'd been there to share the pain.

GuestOkay ... I finally took the time to look at all of these sites ... and as I thought it would, it sucked me in for over an hour.
Seeing that it is crunch time, I better get on with the creation of the web site and stop being intimidated by all the great sites already out there!
The one site that I think will be helpful to others is web-japan.org. It has virtually articles on every possible topic and the site itself is easy to navigate as it is organized by topic and then a brief abstract is given and the entire article is a click away. I navigated and read many of these articles and the site is functioning well ... nothing more frustrating than a "page expired" message!
If anyone has web sites on Asian literature to share, please do.

GuestHello fellow travel mates (well ... hopefully!)
I was wondering who was able to get the web-site and all of the course requirements to qualify for consideration for the 2006 Asia trip. Portia, Shari and myself did so from South. Portia and I send it with USPS priority and in our haste (the day before ... that website was a killer on time ... wow!) we didn't get tracking. Shari used Fedex ... Clayton hasn't been in touch to confirm. Just wondering what is the status of others ... am I worrying too much about not hearing whether or not the lesson plans and website has arrived in the correct hands? I hope to hear from someone 😀

SpectatorHi Folks,
I've announced this via email a couple of times, but wanted to get it into the forum as well.
We're having our reunion dinner and follow-up session tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18. We'll be in the EMB again. All members of the seminar should attend and everyone should invite another social studies/language arts teacher or a supervisor to attend. The session will be from 5 to 7 pm.
Please email me mailto:[email protected] to let me know if you'll be coming and if you'll bring someone. I really need this information to aid in ordering food.
We'll talk about the work you've done with your students and with your colleagues and we'll show off the curriculum units and websites that have been completed.
I look forward to seeing everyone.
