Pdobkin, thanks for the "Spicy Mungbean Salad" recipe! We're having a get together this weekend with some friends flying in from Hawaii, and one of them especially enjoyss Thai cuisine. I am looking forward to dazzling them with your shared recipe. Thanks!

If you are ever in the Long Beach area and crave Thai food or Sushi, stop by a great place called "Bai Plu & Aki Sushi Bar". It's on 7th Street and Walnut and it is just magnificent. The setting is very charming and the food is exquisite and affordable. They have two menus with over 50 dishes to choose from, as well as imported beer like Sapporo, Kirin, and Asahi.

My favorite item on the menu besides Thai Iced Coffee is Tom Kah (seafood soup) and the Rainbow Roll. They are to die for! It's open daily from 10:00am to 11:00pm and the staff is extremely friendly.

If ever near Downtown Long Beach stop by. I guarantee you'll love it! 😀
