KeymasterFrom the lectures, to the support, to our fellow class members, to the "angels," to the food, -- thanks.
I have loved just being able to sit and listen. To have the opportunity to just let the information sink in. It has been a pleasure and I love that I actually feel like I have an understanding of some of the current news stories.
Thank you - team.

GuestI was really looking forward to tonight's class. I do believe that I have a keen interest in Asia because I went there went I was younger and I can appreciate that I did not appreciate the experience then the way that I do now.
The story Clayton told us in the end about the student who was inspired by his teacher to go to Asia and become a monk, provides a very important lesson for everyone. One has to be exposed to information, to experiences to be able to find or to develop an interest. As teachers of inner school children, many times we are the means through which students gain the enrichment that others may take for granted. I hope that I have inspired or at least introduced some of my students to something that has sparked an interest in them.
I also felt a little guilty when Clayton said we were giving up time. I didn't feel as if I were giving anything up! I felt like I was getting far more than I was giving. Thanks to everyone for making this institute one where I learned much and enjoyed even more.June 10, 2010 at 5:54 am #28049Anonymous

GuestThank you to all who made this session possible for us teachers. All of the presenters were very knowledgeable and had plenty of personal experiences to enhance what we were learning. The passion for their content area was obvious and appreciated! The food was good too 😀

GuestYES! Thank you!! The snacks were great and so was the information. Its nice to be a student again and let someone else do all the talking
. I love learning about all this history, being a science teacher it is a nice break to learn about something other than science.

GuestI agree, it was great to not have to be the "teacher" and enjoy being the student. Thank you for everything.

GuestI must add my two cents. It was a great experience to be able to hear the various lecturers. To find out more about east asian culture and be inspired to create lessons using this information. Thank you so much!

GuestThank you for this great opportunity to learn so much about East Asia! I am a happy nerd 😉 I'm sad that I don't have those Tuesdays to learn.

GuestI would also like to take this opportunity to thank Clayton Dube, the staff, and the lecturers for providing us, the students, with so much valuable information and resources. I also attended the Human Rights saturday seminar and was also very impressed with the quality of information and lecturers that was provided to us that attended.
Thank you very much.
