I really enjoyed having Dr. Kim yesterday. I learned so much about Korea. There were a couple of things that I thought were particularly interesting. For one, she talked about the relationship between North Korea and South Korea. I found that interesting because as an English Teacher I don't know much about the current relationships between countries. I also found it interesting to learn how well equipped Korea is in comparison to the rest of the world. I always thought the U.S. was the greatest superpower but now I realize how interdependent we all are on one another resources. Prior to Dr. Kim's presentation I never consider how much is imported from Korea. She gave many titles on children stories (that I can buy for my kids to teach them) and movie titles. I was helpful.
