This handout, 'Honda's Biography', is modified from one of the corporate websites has pictures and is divided into sections with headings. It covers his childhood briefly and then focuses more on his accomplishments later in life. It is probably more appropriate for high school students.
This paper, 'Honda- An American Success Story- Revolutionizing the Art of Management', is long(20 pages). It uses the Honda Motor Company, as a model to study the phenomenom of Japanese companies moving to the U.S. and transplanting Japanese style management methods. It discusses political and economic issues related to Honda's expansion to the U.S. The article is appropriate for highschool students, particularly in a study of economics.
I am trying to get my videos organized, and am not sure about some sites. Did anyone keep a copy of the real and final itinerary? Or daily notes? When trying to lighten up, I'mafraid I threw away all the updated itineraries.
Clay posted one on the web board, but it still doesn"t reflect a lot of the substitutions we made due to weather and the like. I, too, would like an itinerary with these updates, and hope someone kept track. Perhaps Victoria, who I know was keepinf a journal????
I am attaching my handout for This Day in Asian History, July 3, on the Treaty of Wangxia. It really was only one page (front and back), but I had to work on it.
I am posting my report on Bunraku. It, too, was on one page, but it is paginating differently. Even though I did not present it on the trip, we had a great time at the Bunraku Museum in Osaka![Edit by="dbrittenham on Oct 10, 7:28:21 PM"][/Edit]
