I found this article very interesting I was actually looking for the story about China's one child policy.
I wish I knew more about the democratic party... I know they part of their current unpopularity is tied to the US base.
So times they are a changin'; a Japanese-Taiwanese woman who gained celebrity while modeling and acting was nominated by the president to create spending reform. She is "straight talker" and one of the youngest lawmakers in Japan. Renho will actually be running for reelection beginning in July. Did I mention she a mother, and she tweets. Such a rockstar leader!
Considering the adherence to tradition in Japan I was thrilled when I read this article. It will be interesting to see the results of the election.
Does anyone have anymore information about how many women, and non Japanese serve?
