I recently came across this site and found it helpful in exploring the current events related to Asian-Americans. It is partly a popular news outlet covering entertainment, health and beauty as well as a news resource covering economics, politics and culture. It has many articles and does not seem to focus on any particular country. You might equate this web magazine site to something like a Newsweek or Time. It seems to best target Asian Americans who are well integrated in western culture and not particularly not targeted toward new immigrants. As a teacher regardless of subject or discipline, this can be a valuable resource to find articles related to health, history, entertainment, identity, politics, government and history.

I like this website because I was able to see how Americanize Asians are, when they are on shows or movies ethnicity is not mentioned or the extreme opposite. I like to see that their is a middle. Asians embrace who they are and at the same time are part of the social fabric that continues to mold the true meaning of Americanization.
