In my search for ideas for lesson planning, I stumbled upon this great blog. Korean Literature: Savor Korea's Finest Writing. It is a blog,so take heed, I can't verify how authentic it is, but for me, it linked me up with a online version of "Cranes". This is wonderful because I love to give my students options with text, and they often hate to take books home. Secondly, it has all sorts of literature that my students could be exposed too.

The "Help Me Translate" section is really beautifully done and would expose the students to Korean characters and explains culturally significant symbols. A fabulous site for all teachers.

So true that students hate to take home texts, so providing them online reading is a great idea. Thanks for the link - I've been looking for a resource that lists specific examples of Asian literature - I'll be sure to check out the resources listed.
