On my website I linked to the http://www.travelguidechine.com website. It offers a great deal of information on Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism in China. It also includes information on Chinese currency, significant inventions--with a whole page devoted to the great four: the compass, gunpowder, paper making, and printing techniques. All the information can be ound under the China Discovery link on the home page. The information is not at the most advanced reading level, so it will be useful to those of us teaching upper elementary and middle-school.
