This web site is put out by the International Information Programs from the U.S.. Provides the public with updated information on the different programs that are being held in conjunction with the United States. This website can be used as way of keeping up to date with the different types of programs that the U.S. and countries in east asia are currently working on.

1,300 Educational Resources with lesson plans in the following: Art & Design, Science & Technology, History & Culture, and Language Arts, this website is amazing. It is like a clearinghouse of resources, not just on Asia, but on everything that is education.

I highly recommend this for teachers who are looking for links, lesson plans, or any educational ideas for their lessons.

This website is excellent for learning about “The Japanese Food Culture” as well as looking for places to eat. Students can take a tour of different culture cuisine as well as the way food is prepared in Japan. They can find out for themselves, what is a bento-box? Who created it? (Hinomaru Bento) and more….

South-East Asia covers an area of about 4,100,000 square kilometres containing the following countries: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

From the above website stuent can learn many aspects of South East Asia and the 11 countries that it has. There are many links to different resources for each country. Students can go on a web-hunt to look for informations about each country.

I came across this website, as teaching students with special needs, I need to find ways create lessons to accomodate their different learning styles as well as learning deficits.
This website is a lesson written by a special ed teacher, along with links providing information on the different schools of thoughts: in the lesson she also includes a rubric used when assigning students to create a poster.[Edit by="cori on Jul 27, 1:40:08 PM"][/Edit]
