Angry Asian Man is a “blog about Asian America” where the author writes and posts articles that points “out racism and noting any and all appearances of Asians in mass media and popular culture (the good and the bad)” and is not about “hating ‘whitey’ and plotting revolution.” The writer goes on to emphasize that his “website is not intended to be any kind of reputable source for academic research, news reporting or political influence” and is just “a regular Asian American guy, writing about a few things that [he] find[s] particularly noteworthy or interesting.”
Since the blog is a constant source of current news about Asian Americans, it could be a good source for current news about controversial news. Of course, not all the posts are negative, and a current positive one is the election of the first Cambodian American judge elected in Georgia or a funny one about a clerk thwarting robbers with mixed martial arts. I read it occasionally, but it’s interesting to see how others besides me view how Asians are viewed in American society.
