The site that I have found is dedicated to East Asian Literature: http://resources.primarysource.org/eastasianlit
The site is provided by Primary Source, a 26 year old non-profit organization whose goal is to provide global education in schools. As they put it, they "believe in the power of understanding the world from diverse perspectives and a future in which all individuals are informed and contributing global citizens." Everything on the site is designed to be used in schools, especially in the classroom, either as a potential resource or as instructional materials.
The site offers links to professional development, resources, and news/events. The Resources options are Library, Resource Guides, Curriculum, Membership, and Publications. The Library gives you access to classroom activities. The Resource Guides gives you 9 guides on different regions/topics of interest but there are 60 more guides that can be obtained through membership. Online Curriculum gives you access to teacher-created, classroom ready activities designed around primary sources. 3 are provided on the page but more are available through membership. The Basic Membership is FREE. The Premium Membership is only $25 a year. Primary Source also has 7 publications for classroom use - each with context essays, activities, and primary sources.
For the purpose of the web resource, I chose their section on East Asian Literature.
The East Asian Literature section has 5 pages: Chinese Literature, Japanese Literature, Korean Literature, Websites & Online Curriculum, and Films & Videos.
Books and films listed in the guide are available through the Primary Source Library.
But even if you don't want to obtain the resources through Primary Source - it is a great resource guide for literature titles that can be borrowed from your own public library or purchased elsewhere. Each country's literature page has book images, title, and publication information based on different genres, see below:
