The aforementioned website EDSITEment is a very interesting site that is used by most of the history teachers at my school. I learned about this website through my sister, who teaches history and was able to peruse it and discover a lot of interesting information. I will definitely incorporate this website during the summer school and into my Asian unit curriculum. The website is full of insight that ranges from topics in literature, history, art and so forth. I was able search about many Chinese topics ans learn about the culture and tradition before I went to China. This site was a great benefit for me. I will use this website to allow students to do research on Chinese cultural traditions that will connect to the historical background of Chinese Cinderella (China in the 1940s). Students will gather information about significant elements and have them evaluate historical and primary documents. This website will help students because they do not have a good background on Asian culture. I look forward to using this website with my students.
