This was such a great overview of Korean Art & Culture. I can see referring to this often as a reference as well as using some of the beautifully presented artworks and artifacts. In Language Arts in particular I can see referring to the Symbolism (Embodied Wishes and Hopes) list with categories such as Colors with Directions and Elements (ie. blue/green, East, Wood). Another useful list would be Buddhist symbols (i.e. Clouds- Good harvest, absolute power of heaven, enlightenment) and Daoist Symbols i.e. Big Dipper- Deity that controls life spans and childbirth). This was a great launching point for further study. It has easy, accessible explanations, but does not go into any great detail.
